If you want a ranch-like dip but don't want the sugar and preservatives from store- bought options (or don't want to spend a fortune on the specialty brands), here you go!
Ingredients:
*note- you can use fresh herbs in replace of the dried. Be sure to chop them finely and double the amount
8 oz. sour cream
4 oz. cream cheese, softened or at room temperature
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. dried dill weed
1 tsp. dried chives
1 tsp. dried parsley
1/2 tsp. sea salt
Few dashes of pepper
2 tsp. apple cider vinegar (or lemon juice)
Optional: 1 tsp. of Pyure sweetener (this helps bring out a more "ranchy" flavor)
Optional: green onions, chopped
Optional: 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Beat the sour cream, cream cheese and mayonnaise together until smooth.
Add all remaining ingredients and mix well again.
Store in fridge!
