Enjoy for breakfast- or lunch! Throw a green veggie on the side and make it a dinner! Fast food has nothing on these!
Ingredients:
2 Thinly formed large sausage patties (this is my favorite)
1 egg, fried to personal preference
1/4 of a ripe avocado, smashed into a guacamole texture. Seasoned to preference if desired (salt, pepper, garlic, etc)
Sliced or shredded cheese of choice (cheddar is perfect)
Pre-formed sausage patties from the store will not work very well here as the circles are usually too small. You want to use ground sausage to form very thin patties that are about 4-5 inches across- it will shrink a bit as it cooks.
Put the cheese on the sausage the last few minutes of it frying to melt.
Use the sausage patties as the "bread."
Layer the remaining ingredients like a sandwich.
