Super creamy, super easy! If you want less creamy yogurt, use plain whole milk.
Ingredients:
2 cups half and half
2 cups heavy whipping cream
2 Tbsp. plain greek yogurt (store-bought)
Combine all the ingredients and whisk well.
Pour it all into the Instapot.
Set the Yogurt button (automatically goes for 8 hours- I have found 8-1/2 hours is even better).
Take the lid off. Transfer to a bowl.
Let cool in fridge.
If you like thick yogurt (greek style), strain with a cheesecloth or yogurt cloth overnight in the fridge to remove the whey. The longer you strain, the thicker the yogurt. I like to strain at least 8 hours. Here's the strainer I use: Micro-Nylon Yogurt Strainer
Add sweetener and flavorings of choice! I have used flavored stevia drops (berry and vanilla) and also vanilla extract with Swerve. They all turn out great!
Store up to a week in the fridge.
