Chaffle Sandwich

Cheese + Egg + Waffle Maker = Cheese Waffle (aka "Chaffle")


Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (any type)

  • 1 beaten egg

  • Optional seasonings: garlic or onion powder, pepper, Italian, etc.


  1. Mix the cheese and beaten egg and any seasonings together.

  2. Heat a regular size or mini waffle maker and spray with non-stick spray.

  3. Cook the cheese/egg mixture on the waffle maker according to your waffle maker's instructions (when the light goes off on mine, I cook it a minute or two longer to make it more crispy).

  4. Assemble your sandwich using the chaffles as bread!

Note: A regular size waffle maker will make 2 chaffles and a mini-size waffle maker will make and the mini size makes perfect size chaffles for bread or buns! Here's the one I use: Dash Mini Maker
