The skin gets nice and crispy and the inside stays nice and juicy! This recipe reminds me of the Shake N' Bake coating I used to have growing up- YUM!
Ingredients:
6-8 chicken drumsticks, with skin on
1/2 cup almond flour
1/2 cup nutritional yeast
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
1 tsp. seasoned salt
1 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. garlic power
1/2 tsp. onion powder
2 eggs
Mix all the dry ingredients for the coating in a shallow bowl.
Whisk the two eggs in separate bowl.
Dip each drumstick in the egg first, then coat them with the breading mixture.
Fry in an air-fryer set at 400 for 30 minutes (or a little less, depending on the size of your drumsticks).
